IT is Overwhelming and Frustrating

Background

Does your staff feel like technology fails them or introduces additional complexity instead of helping them to their work and simplifying their daily routines?

When it comes to implementing solutions, IT can be overwhelming for many people. Information technology can be a powerful tool to help streamline processes, but when not understood or applied correctly it can be a daunting task. As a result, it is important to take the time to understand the technology and how to best apply it to the task at hand.

When implementing a solution, it is important to think through the process step-by-step. It is also important to understand the scope of the project and the timeline for completion. By taking the time to plan out the implementation, it can help reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed. Additionally, it is important to understand the various tools and technologies that are available to help with the implementation. Having a basic understanding of these tools and technologies can help to reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed.

It is also important to have a support system in place. Having a team of experts to help with the implementation can provide valuable insight and help to reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed. Additionally, having a support team that can provide feedback and guidance throughout the implementation process can help ensure the success of the project. Finally, it is important to keep in mind that there is no one-size-fits-all solution.

Case Study

The Problem

  • Staff is stressed and confused while using multiple systems like MS Office, Google Drive, and Drop box for collaboration.

  • Staff is sending multiple emails back and forth to multiple stakeholders trying to find acceptable date and time for a meeting.

Our Solution

Migrating all collaboration to MS Teams and Sharepoint platform greatly simplified number of systems staff had to deal with on a daily basis. Teaching staff how to use Meting Polls and Bookings for Outlook allowed them to quickly schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Training was critical in making staff feel comfortable with the available technology.
